Welcome

Things must definitely change in government!

The average individual has no voice in what is happening in government, especially in Florida. It is absolutely true that our legislators are being 'bought out' by many of the PAC groups and large corporations who give huge amounts of money to get 'their politicians' reelected. Those legislators are not going to vote for what's best for us, when their chances of reelection depend on the money from these groups.

It has become increasingly difficult to continue to watch the news on television, because each day the questionable acts and shenanigans of some of our legislators just keep getting worse. It reminds me of politics in High School, where everything was fun and games. The reality is that we have entrusted our legislators with our future and they are not living up to that responsibility.

The bottom line is that we need to clean house and put honest people back in government.

It is astonishing to me that most of our politicians in Tallahassee are not willing to ‘reach across the aisle' and compromise. If our legislators truly cared about the voters, not only about themselves and their pocketbooks, they would be solving problems.

I am running to put an end to this selfishness. I do not have a political agenda, because I am not a career politician. I am not beholden to any of the insurance companies or banking lobbies or others who would like to 'buy' my vote. I am running because I want to give back to my community and put common sense back into government - I have no other reason for entering into politics, except to effect positive and constructive changes.

I have lived in South Dade - Kendall for many years, I ran a community business (I am a veterinarian), and have the smarts to make sure that government is held accountable for it's spending, and that the books balance. I care about my community. I do not enjoy seeing the worry in the eyes of my friends and family, agonizing about their financial future and quality of life.

To make a change in your future, get involved in the election process - 'VOLUNTEER'

It's the only way to learn, first hand, about our political system and have a say in your future by participating. It is hard to criticize the political system if you do not help to enable change in the direction you want it to go! Here's your chance - there are always plenty of things to do - from researching topics on important issues to the voters in your neighborhood, to helping with the computers - the internet is a big part of any campaign these days - to getting out the 'word' and good old fashioned door to door canvassing (you supply the walking shoes and we supply the sunscreen) - it's a lot of fun and a great way to meet people.

Click on the 'CONTRIBUTE' button

A contribution will allow your voice to be heard in Tallahassee, by helping us win! By contributing you are standing up for the issues which are important to YOU. Send a message - "Enough is Enough" with the career politicians who have not made the right decisions. Let them know, "My life and family are important, and I want my vote to count!"
